Sean Savoie

Sean M. Savoie (Lighting Designer), currently serves as resident lighting designer and production manager at Washington University, as well as Production Manager for the St. Louis Muny. He received his MFA from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music in Lighting Design and Technology. His background includes architectural lighting and design firms King Lighting, Inc., in Covington, KY and Visions in Light of Cincinnati, OH. Regional design credits include: Black Cat Theatre, Muddy Waters Theatre, St. Louis Shakespeare, Upstream Theatre, HotCity Theatre, Wayside Theatre; Shenandoah University; Theatre West Virginia; Tsunami Theatre Company in Washington, DC; New York Chinese Cultural Center; Portland Opera (Associate & Assistant Designer), Know Theatre (including the award winning See What I Wanna See), Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Cincinnati Opera (Assistant Designer), and Rising Stars Opera in Rising Sun, IN. Mr. Savoie is also an active member of ESTA (Entertainment Services and Technology Association) serving on the Essential Skills Committee as well as the Seminars and Training Committee. |
