Caitlyn Ayer

Ms. Ayer comes to Insight from Webster University, where she recently earned her BFA in scenic and costume design with a minor in studio art. Favorite projects include designing scenery for The Last Five Years at the New Jewish Theatre; costumes for Tom Stoppard’s On the Razzle at Webster University; and show posters for Webster’s 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 conservatory seasons. In Spring of 2010, Caitlin received the W. Oren Parker Award for Undergraduate Scene Design from the United States Institute for Theatre Technology and was chosen to display her portfolio at the Young Designer's Forum as part of the USITT Conference in Kansas City. As a graduate, Caitlin will spend her summer interning at the Firecracker Press on Cherokee Street, and bouncing between Saint Louis and Arrow Rock, Missouri, where she is designing two shows. When she's not working in theatre, Caitlin loves designing posters, collecting gnomes, and gluing rhinestones to most everything. |
